2016-09-01: OpenConsent and the Kantara Initiative announced a Memorandum of Understanding to facilitate global interoperability of consent and identity management.

In appreciation of the contribution of the Consent Receipt Specification, as Chair of the work group and Vice-Chair of the Leadership Council, Mark Lizar and Kantara is eager for the next step in developing conformity assessments for records of notice and consent at an industry and international level.

OpenConsent looks forward  to building cross standards community liaison in identity, security and privacy to extend existing international and national frameworks.
